Time Tracking & Attendance Management Solutions for Construction Industry

Client belongs to Real-estate segment. Being one of the largest builder they have built healthy relationship with clients by accelerating the construction time, reducing the project cost, minimizing wastage & also by considering the green building design principles in all their ventures.

Business Requirement

Client has some 60 no’s of site executives, who won’t come for any regular shift and they will work on flexi timings, by any time between 7 AM to 10 PM. Client needs a system in place to track attendance for the following scenarios and generate a New Report for Site Executives where it should bring Emp Id, Emp Name, Reporting In Time, Reporting Out Time, Pay Attendance.

Attendance type 1:

Site executives will come to office do the punch for the day and go out then return back to office and do out punch.

Attendance type 2:

Site executives will call and inform to the office when they are IN for field work and when they are OUT from field work.

Solution Provided

As per client requirement, TimeCheck software was provided with a separate configuration to specify these particular site executives in employee master. We also gave provision to update that month’s business days as per their business rules, based on the update the site executive’s attendance will be handled. We also looked that this reflection doesn’t affect the other regular staffs and workers of the Organization. New report for Site executives was provided as per requirement.

Normal day Attendance

If an employee works for minimum 4 hrs then first session can be marked as present, 8 hrs then the attendance will be marked as present for the first & second session. If an employee is working for even 3.55 hrs the day attendance need to be marked as absent, for instance if they even work for 7.55 hrs the day attendance need to be marked First session as Present and Second session need to be marked as Absent.

Business day Attendance

For some special days marked in a month if employee meets 2 hrs then First session attendance need to be marked as Present and If employee meets 4 hours means then whole day attendance both First and second session need to be marked as Present.

If employee is working for 4 hrs then first session and second session can be marked as Present if even employee is working for even 3.55 hrs the day attendance need to be marked First session as Present and Second session need to be marked as Absent.
